Scoot is Watching

Scoot, also know as ol’ Scott Shambaugh, controls all things inventory. He makes sure everything is there, and keeps an eye out for anything out of place. One of the nicest people you ‘ll meet, so give him two high-fives when you see him in the shop!
I packed up a pile of modifiers, a camera, and some lenses from the MPEX Rental Department to shoot the whole Midwest Photo crew today (there are more shots from this shoot to come.) I really like the painterly light you get from gridded softboxes, so I picked up two LumoPro 12×36 Stripboxes with grids. Then, to add a little hard light to the shoot, I got a Profoto Magnum Reflector. The Magnum Reflector was to the left of Scoot, and was angled behind the lens that is in front of his face. Scoot would move the lens away from his face until I could get a feature or two in focus. You kind of have to take a second look when you see an eye that big checking you out…
