Meet Michelle. Michelle is the Marketing Manager at Midwest Photo, which means she makes sure as many people as possible know about our little store. Michelle know how to stay organized even in total chaos, and never drops the ball. She will work day and night if something needs to be done, and I can’t imagine anyone else putting in as much effort as she does. It is likely because of her efforts that you even reading this right now. You can say hi to her on the MPEX Facebook page, through Twitter, or just say “Hey” in an email!

I used a LumoPro 22″ Beauty Dish as the key light, with a white reflector on top of a posing table to fill some shadows. I also used a magnum reflector as a background light and a 12×36 strip as an accent light to the left. The effect of a beauty dish and a reflector below, in a “clamshell” setup, gives a brighter look to the skin. I swear, you can use the beauty dish in a million different ways. I think it might be one of the best value modifiers out there and can be had pretty cheaply. If you haven’t shot with one, I recommend you get your hands on one and try it out.
