The Daily Photo #37- February 6th, 2016

Late Days

I tend to leave the power lines in the shot. I like the lines they can add to a composition. Some people can’t stand them, I’m sure. You might be reading this right now and wondering what I was thinking. I don’t think I would have liked it as much if it weren’t for the power line cutting through the photo.
I used a 3-stop Vü neutral density filter to allow for a one minute and forty second exposure. No wind was present to shake the leaves, which is surprising for the exposure time and proximity. It still kind of amazes me to see sluggish clouds move through a still photograph.
