The Daily Photo #33- February 2nd, 2016
I was looking forward to shooting some color after the grey days of January. Even the fish seem to be trying to eat up the last of the sun’s rays. This is at the very last minutes of sunset, when Columbus is as golden as it is ever going to get. I am grateful for any chance I get to shoot when the light is like this.
I was using the Nikon D750 and the Nikkor 28mm PC lens (we have this lens for sale, call the shop to get a price) let me correct for any vertical distortion at the lens. I did not have to correct the perspective in post at all. The combination of the old, perspective-control lens and this modern, advanced sensor is a beautiful thing.
See you tomorrow.
