Join us on Saturday, August 10 for our Moonlight Market Photo Walk in downtown Columbus. Moonlight Market is Columbus’ first nighttime open-air market. Located downtown on the eclectic pocket of Gay Street nestled between High and Third, Moonlight Market hosts a plethora of local and regional vendors, musicians, artists, tradespeople, and artisans, in addition to the existing businesses on Gay Street, culminating in the most exciting, most colorful, tastiest market under the stars. For the full (and ever-growing) list of Moonlight Market vendors, click here. This photo walk will start at the corner of N. Third St. and E. Gay St. The first leg of the walk will take us south on Third, including Columbus icons such as the Columbus Dispatch building and the Statehouse. We’ll circle around the Statehouse, capturing all sides of that historical building, then head east on Broad Street, where participants will have a great view of downtown. Finally, we’ll head north up Pearl Alley, ending at Moonlight Market, where participants will have an extended opportunity to capture the hustle-and-bustle energy of this exciting new Columbus event. Led by Aaron Sheldon, this photo walk is a great opportunity for photographers who want to capture twilit images of Columbus landmarks under the stars. It’s a perfect chance to photographers to test their mettle at capturing perfectly exposed nighttime urban shots, and to practice your street photography amid the controlled chaos of Columbus’ newest open-air street market.
