Cool New Things: Nikon Refurbished

We at Midwest Photo Exchange are happy to be the proud new retailers of Nikon refurbished products!

You might be wondering about the difference between refurbished and used productsUsed means that someone sold us a camera, lens, or other product, we personally vetted it at the store, and now we’re selling it at a “used price.” Refurbished means that a product was sent back to the manufacturer (in this case, Nikon), the manufacturer fixed or cleaned it if necessary, tested it, sealed the box with their stamp of approval, and then sent it to us to sell at a lower price.

Here are some highlights:

Nikon D600, $1,799.99 ($1,996.95 new)

For the first time ever, the highest level of performance one expects from Nikon’s FX-format full-frame DSLRs is available in a compact, affordable version. D600’s 24.3 megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor captures every detail with lifelike sharpness. Its EXPEED 3 processing system manages all that data with remarkable speed and accuracy, enabling up to 5.5 fps continuous shooting at full resolution. And the low-light performance synonymous with Nikon is again proven deserved-shoot crystal clear images from ISO 100 to 6400, expandable down to 50 and up to 25600 for extreme situations.

  1. If I click through on the D7000, I go to another page on your site that says the price is $799. Which is correct? Also, what kind of warranty is included?

    1. Warranty is 90 days. If you want to order a D7000 for the price listed on this post, call the store at 866-940-3686 and our salespeople will take $50 off the price listed on the website.

  2. This is great news. How do I find the refurshished Nikon DSLR equipment? I looked on the website and didn’t see a link. I also searched on the web site and got several thousand hits…and most were not Nikon gear. I’m in the market, so your help would be appreciated.
