We will be at the WPPI Expo at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. The expo’s open March 11-13. Make sure you visit us at booth #631, where we’ll be onsite with tons of gear in stock and super prices for all your equipment needs. We will be hosting a SanDisk Trade-in Event for expo customers only. Bring your memory card to the MPEX booth and ask a sales associate about trade-in value towards a new SanDisk card. Plus, Gary Fong will be at the booth to demonstrate his popular lighting products on Monday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 13 from 1 to 3 PM. If you’re going to be in Vegas, we’d love to see you at our booth!

We will be hosting a Video Bootcamp for Photographers with Cinevate‘s resident photographer-turned-videographer, Victor Ha. Explore and learn the basic skills and elements needed in transitioning from the photography into HD Video. This two-day, hands-on seminar will investigate the concepts of story telling and what tools, skills and concepts are required in moving beyond the still and into the world of HD Video. If you’re a photographer looking to expand your repertoire for clients, or just someone who wants to learn more about shooting HDSLR video, register for this awesome two-day workshop now. This is happening Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, but don’t wait: spots are quickly filling up. Don’t miss out on this awesome event!

The Sigma 12-24mm F4.5-5.6 ultra-wide zoom lens has a $100 Instant Rebate right now. This is a newer version of Sigma’s previously beloved lens and now includes one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass element and four of the company’s new “F” Low Dispersion FLD glass elements to compensate for color aberration (a particular problem for wide-angle lenses) and provide high image quality. Order for your Canon or Nikon mounts, or check out the rest of Sigma’s current rebates on lenses.
