The Socialmatic concept camera we reported on back in May, that would take pictures, apply filters and then print the photos out on paper, looks like it could be coming a reality.

The company proposing to build the camera, ADR Studio, has found a private investor as well as a business partner and says it is close to signing contracts with hardware and software manufactures.

“We hope to have the contracts signed in the next week,” says project founder Antonio De Rosa.

If everything goes to plan, De Rosa says he hopes to have a working prototype by the end of the year and the cameras in consumer’s hands by the middle of 2013.
