I know what you’re thinking, he must have spelled that wrong, but no it’s an intentional play on words/phonetics. No homeowner wants to see this in his or her lawn, but they sure make great studies in lines, shapes and patterns, not to mention a decent black & white image.

I was wanting a couple of things in this image. One, enough depth of field to have most of the Dandelion’s foreground structure in focus, but have some soft around the outer edges, towards the back of the focal plane. Two, I wanted to make sure the I lost almost all of the ambient light, as I knew this would translate well when I turned the image into a Black & White.
