Main Sail
Another beautiful butterfly specimen from the Franklin Park Conservatory. Can’t wait to get back and spend some more time with my thinly winged friends.

In this image, I really wanted a side profile of the butterfly, I think they look kind of regal posed that way. Allowed a little bit of ambient light to interplay with the strobe light in my exposure and made sure that I kept a careful eye on the focal plane of the subject versus the sensor plane.
