Across from the Columbus Convention Center is their new parking garage, with color tones that match the original building (the verdict is still out on those selections). At any rate I found the lines and colors compelling, so here you are.

A fair amount of the time, when I am out street shooting, I am looking for lines, shapes, patterns and colors. Found this new structure while I was wandering around downtown Columbus and it fit the bill perfectly. While taking this shot I focused on keeping the lines and the framing where I wanted them to be in the final image and keeping an eye on the exposure. The meter was dead on in this scene, but I wasn’t initially sure that that was going to be the case, nice surprises are always good!
