Shadow Thoughts

Spent some time in the studio recently working on lighting technique and some effects lighting. Seems like the shadows and lines would be simple, but they can be a challenge.
ISO 200 1/200 @ f/2.8 at 85mm
Gear used:
- Canon 5D SR body
- Canon 85mm f/1.2L
- 2X Profoto B2 Air 250 (10 degree grid)
- 2X Profoto D1 Air 1000 (20 degree grid)
- 1X Profoto B1 Air 500 (2 X 3 OCF Softbox)
In this image, I am using a home built divider box with a miniblind mounted inside the box as a gobo / flag. The 2 1000ws lights are placed at a distance of about 20’ from the gobo / flag to create the shadow lines. The model needs to maintain close proximity to the blinds in order for the shadow lines to be prominent. The additional lights are used as either very subtle fill light from the model side of the gobo / flag, or as spot kickers.
