You might be wondering about the difference between refurbished and used products. Used means that someone sold us a camera, lens, or other product, we personally vetted it at the store, and now we’re selling it at a “used price.” Refurbished means that a product was sent back to the manufacturer (in this case, Nikon), the manufacturer fixed or cleaned it if necessary, tested it, sealed the box with their stamp of approval, and then sent it to us to sell at a lower price.
